Westhills Company, a premier developer and custom builder of upscale homes in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, asked Payne & Company to help re-brand their 40+ year-old firm. Westhills had built up a good deal of brand equity with their name and reputation over the years, but their visual identity and collateral material was a far cry from the excellent craftsmanship they had become known for.
After interviewing the principals and senior staff and conducting a thorough review of their marketing materials, signage, and website, it was determined that they were in need of a serious graphic and messaging makeover. Visually, some of the graphic elements and color schemes that had been a part of the company since its inception in 1970 were kept so as not to confuse their existing customer base. However, the graphics were stepped up several notches across all media platforms, and the tagline "Built for Life™" was added to the re-designed corporate logo to remind people of the high quality of their work.
The most visible example of their new brand identity, a website, was developed with ample information about the Company and its staff, and included links to printable flyers of the properties for sale in a variety of communities in the Shenandoah Valley. For more information, please visit
