Fishburne at Daytona

My client and alma mater, Fishburne Military School, recently sponsored a car in the Daytona Camping World 300 race. We worked with their designers in creating the graphics and paint scheme for the stock car, using the "Leadership for Life" theme Payne & Company crafted in 2007 for their national advertising campaign. In addition, we worked with their public relations team in crafting messaging for appearances on ESPN2 and other media outlets. Mike Wallace, brother of veteran NASCAR driver Rusty Wallace, is the driver of the "Leadership for Life" Chevrolet.

“First, I want to thank Johnny Davis and everyone at JD Motorsports for working with me to put this Nationwide deal together,” Wallace said. “I love racing at Daytona, and having two opportunities to compete there is great. When the Fishburne Military School Board of Trustees got together and talked about supporting this one-race deal, they realized it would be a good thing.

“We will carry their slogan of ‘Leadership for Life’ on the No. 01 Chevrolet. It’s a unique sponsorship, and I’m hoping we can do a good job for them,” Wallace said.

Economic Recovery - Experts' Confidence

Payne & Company recently designed a print advertising campaign with the Business Roundtable and DividedWeFail.org to run in newspapers in major markets across the U.S. The idea is to reinforce consumer confidence in the American economy by utilizing published quotes from some of the most successful business leaders in the world today -- many of whom are Business Roundtable members. The ads, one-color (black) and relatively small, are economical in their own right -- necessary in today's budget-conscious business climate.
